Year 1: EDGE Foundations

Complete 24 credits in your subject area to become qualified in your domain for a teaching license, through Hebrew Theological College

Walder Science covers tuition expenses. Participants who are unable to complete the program through year 2 are responsible to reimburse tuition expenses to Walder Science.

Years 2 & 3: Core EDGE Program

Learn and be mentored by leaders in education.

The educational methodologies coursework is provided in collaboration with Hebrew Theological College. The EDGE leaders have modeled the courses after leading research, and tailored them to meet the needs of our community schools. The program includes 6 domains, leading to Illinois licensure.

• Educational psychology
• Literacy and educational research
• Methods of secondary teaching, including content area
• Differentiated instruction and special needs
• Assessment and psychometrics
• Observation, tutoring, and student teaching
